Hallow Hearted Spoon

As I set and look into this hollow hearted spoon I hear a guardian angels playing a harp to a sad sick and destructive tune.

Yet this tune gives me hope as does this hollow hearted spoon, for the spoons a piece of plastic and the hollow heart a hole, any sickened thought becomes faded, flawed, and I pray stays nule.

Now the tune not as drastic and it's finally steadied its course, I believe the strumming of an angel and my prayer open heaven to behold a white horse,

For the rider that sets upon it faithful and true, though the name is unknown judges in righteousness with the sword that would cut threw any stone.

For my Stones been addiction and I followed it to hell, but this Rider here's my prayer and knows my spirit means well.

Now the stone takes form of a dark demonic beast; but the rider takes his head then calls the birds of feast when these birds catch their fill I'll no longer feel ill, so strum away my angel strum and help me heal.

About this poem

What had give me the inspiration behind the writing was from a time I had to go through incarceration for some young adolescent and idiotic acts of my earlier twenties. I was incarcerated in Crawford county jail where I was sitting in my cell chewing on a plastic spoon I chewed so long that I realized I had to shoot a hole in the center of the spoon that resembled the shape of a heart. My first thought was if only all my students had a hole in them I might possibly not be sitting in a jail cell. Mind of the addict an what struggles can be eased with the right works that one needs. Also was doing a lot of studying and riding at the time and reading KJV was the biggest part of the inspiration of the word structure you might recognize Revelations 19 KJV version
