The fairy kingdom

The fairy kingdom threw a dance .
And everyone was there .
Every fairy dressed to the 9's.
With flowers in the ladies hair .
Each bejeweled with diamonds .
Their gowns of spun silk and gold threads .
The gentlemen wore suits of course .
Their shoes polished to a shine .
There was fairy punch .
And witches wine delicious to the taste .
Delicate pastrys decorated with spun sugar and flower petals .
And other tempting treats .
They danced all night under the stars.
And sang and ate till dawn .
Then wearily they returned home .
To nestile in their beds .
And dream of floating in the trees .
The way that fairies love .
The next morning all was quiet .
From sore feet and throbbing heads .
The fairy folk recount their night.
And gossip laughing at their friends.
The one found love , the other not .
But it was all in fun .
And nar an angry word was spoken.
All across the Fields.
For these are a peaceful bunch .
And love their friends and neighbors.
