Earth's Dying

Yolanda.Mk 2007 (Springs)

The Earth is dying slowly,
From pollution, from harm,
The causes are many,
The consequences alarm.

The air is polluted,
The water is unclean,
The forests are disappearing,
The animals are unseen.

The ice caps are melting,
The sea levels rise,
The people are suffering,
As the Earth starts to cry.

We've done this to ourselves,
We've caused this decline,
But we can make a change,

Before it's too late, we must try.
We must work together,
To make things right,
To save our planet,
To end this plight.

We must reduce pollution,
We must protect the earth,
We must conserve resources,
Before our planet's rebirth.

We must act now,
We must be bold,
We must do our part,
So the story can be told.

Of how we saved the Earth,
From the harm we'd done,
Of how we made a difference,
And our future's begun.

We must never forget,
The price we have paid,
For the damage we've done,
But we must move forward,
Our work's not yet done.

We must always remember,
The Earth is our home,
We must care for it,
We must make it known.

That the Earth is precious,
It's worth saving, you see,
It's the only home we have,
So let's make it free.

Let's make it a place,
Where all creatures thrive,
Where nature is abundant,
And life can survive.

Thank you
