I spent more of my life without a Grandma than I did with her because she passed when I was young. I miss the nurturing element that real good Grandma's offer. Their disposition is like a warm hug even before U get one from them. Then when U get a warm hug from them it's like all the madness in life goes away. I would have loved for my son to grow up with that as well but he didn't. Grandma's are very special in most cases. If they are not nurturing and warm that falls short of the mark. Take it from me someone who has been without a Grandma most of my life cherish them if you have them. The next best thing if you are minus a Grandma would be a warm nurturing Aunt. Are those nurturing woman that fit that warm position a Dieing breed? Makes you wonder.
