A Child's Cry

I cry not just for me but others who are me.
I cry when you stripped my innocence from me
I cry when you turned your head and didn't protect me.
I cry deep within because you never understood me I cry.
You stole who I was with no care of what you did to me
closing my eyes wishing you death so you couldn't longer hurt me.
I cry, I cry, I cry
Wonder who would come to rescue me
Feeling alone without love who will rescue the kid in me.
I cry
I cry wishing you would hear me and see me that I cry just for you to come hold me and give me back what belongs to me.
My innocence that you took from me
I cry.
