Nubian, Beautimous

Nubian, Beautimous

Beautiful feet
from heel to toe,
traveled light years
through historical roads.

Skin as brazen
as a coconut tree
inner foundation
equally sweet...

Robust thighs!
Thick Nubian roots,
celestial hips
make the godless fear the truth.

Intellect
far passed cloud nine...
heart blessed,
with a touch of the Divine.

Falling short
fell hard for me.
Jesus wept too,
yes, I do believe!

God did something
extra with me,
placing industries within my hands,
rooting royalty within my seed.

I have walked many days in many skins,
followed a plethora of sunsets.
Majesty flowing through my veins;
I, often the pinnacle of political unrest...

Solar planes rotate in my brain,
angelic whispers carry me.
Nubian natural, creatively esteemed;
The center of the universe resides within me.

Beautiful prayers
through the decades decreed,
Lord, vanquish my oppressor,
come quick, deliver me!

Lips, precious
as the most valuable stones,
armed with golden drops of wisdom.
Speaking words of Life
in every tone.
Birthing fullness to those who did listen.

Spirit
sharp, present, and quick
Nubian-centric
God made me like this.
