Armageddon
Armageddon
Children walk the streets as zombies,
And wait, already dead,
For bombs another’s father sends.
There it should end, but the unfed
Greed, the blood lust, turn all to dust
Attitude of a select few
Is all that proves true.
Smoke swirls from a mothers singed hair
Through the nostrils of the baby
Wrapped in her arms, his long dead stare
Settles far into the future,
Where, the sirens, and smoke long gone,
He, and his sisters ghosts play on.
We are living through the worlds end,
And giving in to the panic,
Where the rules we bend, end in dead,
Unburied, and mutilated.
I see tomorrow, it’s rearing head,
As we, both feet on the titanic,
Gravely fight, and slaughter until
We paint the water red.
