I Wish

I wish I was the naughty squirrel playing among the leaves,
Wish I were the childish coconuts hanging with the big leaves and dancing with the wind.

Wish I was a crow or a sparrow, flying across the sky,
Or be the sky with endless dreams.

Wish I was the sun, brighter than anyone else,
Or wish I was the moon, beautiful than anyone else.

I wish I was a luminous star, twinkling in the night sky,
Or wish I was a planet, with diamonds raining on my eye.

I wish I was a human, which I already am,
Gaining knowledge from everywhere, how grateful I am!
