Lifelong Learning

Up in a tree a young bird is learning to fly,
Below that tree, a young boy is taught to lie,
The world has many lessons to be learned,
The world is full of knowledge that must be earned,
Animals they learn and grow and survive,
Humans we just learn only to stay alive,
Death, dying and there’s much much more,
All man has learned is to even the score,
Lifelong learning describes that of a man,
He goes through life repeating his father’s plan,
Lifelong learning means we will never learn,
The Earth we continue to damage and burn,
Lifelong learning means, he never learned
