Just a dream

It was just a dream By Michelle D.

This morning I woke up
From having a beautiful dream.
We were sitting there talking again,
Like old times, just u and me..

We talked about the past a bit,
About everything we went through..
Talked about the good times;
The time I had with you..

It was so nice to hear your voice again,
So nice to see you smile..
It was great to hear you laugh again!
And to be together for a while..

But then I woke up and looked around, And realized it was just a dream..
Realized that you're still gone,
That you're not here with me..

You are still in Heaven,
So far away from me..
But at least I get to see you again,
Even if it's only in my dreams
