The Spark

               The Spark
                By Nancy Rodriquez

I am the spark which lights your heart,
It is ever present as your twin flame ,
To ensure you know this is not a game,
I am the spark which is patient and kind,
Biding my time,
Until you learn from your foolish ways,
Then return to me for the rest of your days ,
I am the spark which works like a compass,
Reminds you we have met in lives past,
Keeps your soul mirrored with mine,
Knowing if you dare to tell lies,
I am the spark which keeps you wanting me with you,
As I set boundaries in my higher self, I do,
To protect what was broken before,
Yet it keeps you wanting more,
I am the spark which offers light in the dark ,
For you to find your way home where you belong ,
Right by my side, close enough to embrace,
While we kiss in a fast pace,
We have dreams not yet discovered,
You need to believe we are best for one another,
I am the spark.
