Don't Touch My Wounds

Don't touch my wounds
when you know they burn me,
she went to another,
like a leaf down a river.

Don't touch my wounds,
my spring is gone,
she went to another,
that beautiful blonde woman.

Don't touch my wounds,
snow is blowing in my soul,
she went to another,
he warms her hands.

She went to another,
like a bird to the south,
and she left me,
like some long winter.
