No Need To Be Upset
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Today there is no need,
To be the one breaking down in tears.
And on knees disbelieving,
The truth for what it is to have ignored...
Reality.
Since,
Nowhere has truth and the reality of it...
Had been hidden anywhere from anyone.
Kept to refuse and miss.
Although this choice to choose and keep,
Being upset and stressed out to delude...
What appears as clear,
As night is from day.
To deny and perceive,
Tomorrow will fade away to leave rainbows...
That will replace,
The face of truth knocking on doors.
To enter inside.
Without it to be asked for identification.
For whatever the reason,
Many are aware of what has been avoided.
But today there is no need,
To lie about the presence of it.
Truth does not deceive what it is to be!
'What a beautiful home you have.
Fully decorated with fantastic fantasies.
Oh...
And yes.
I enjoy my coffee,
With two or three teaspoons of sugar.
And just a bit of cream.'
'And...
You come here expecting,
That kind of hospitality and service?
Who on Earth do you think we are?
Your servants?'
'LOL...
Of course not.
I'm not here to be humored.
However...
Clients of mine,
I guarantee you soon will become.
Oh...
God forgive me.
I had promised to drink only green tea.
I'll have a cup of green tea.
With lemon and honey!'
'Such...
Audacity.'
'I know.
Everywhere I show up unexpectedly.
People say the same thing.
Would you happen to have any...
Fresh croissants?!'
