I deserve it

Free verse
Blood flows like a waterfall
Staining my white, fluffy carpet
The blade slices deeper
And more blood is on my hands
I have to get a new carpet now
To hide the scarlet stain deep in the carpet, by now it has all dried up
Even though the carpet changes
The scars don't
Physical lines running down my arms
But also the emotional scars, driving me to do it again
 I don't care about the pain
I deserve it
I deserve to have to get a new carpet
I deserve to feel the pain
I deserve it
I deserve it
I deserve it
