Nature's inspiration

Jennifer Freeman 1985 (Germany)

I want to embody the confidence of a lone wolf, the cleverness of a fox, the fearlessness of a lion and the audaciousness of a soaring hawk.

I'll take inspiration from the creeks everflowing water always moving forward and the great oak surviving all the treacherous storms, to the ferns that persevered into strong fossil along with the cactus withstanding a deserts scorn

I'm thankful for the sun lighting up the darkened paths each and every day along with the moon keeping earth balanced and our seasons from fading away.

Mother nature is truly amazing, numerous gifts she holds in her arms, it's when we come back to basics we have the power to rid ourselves of despair and harm.

About this poem

I've been on a soul searching journey to find myself again and going back to basics in nature seems to be the solution.
