Amplify

The long past poet got on the mic...
in a documentary.

He said "Amplify".

Everything was and everything became: black and white.

The silence became audible...

and the poet had somehow also become lost in the speaker.

The black moved into the white as the white moved into the black as every word had been memorised for performance art.

And now?... colour...?... sound...?

Is...?

Sometimes too much for me. So I watched attentively.

Somehow the eyes didn't tear him apart.

And the laughter merged with the meaning.

The serious words became the humour, or the humour lost itself for a moment in the seriousness of laughter.

Then it went silently into the next... moment by moment little things that don't break up.
