Mother's Love

Mom, you are caring and loving to me
You taught me to be the best I can be
Your love for me makes me strong
It carries me all day long
No one is more thoughtful than you
You help me make my dream come through
You instill in me faith, hope and love
Knowing the father, the great one above
Words can hardly express how I feel
The way you model is so real
Thank you for all the special things you do
You took care of my cuts and bruises
You showed me that life has wins and losses
Without a great mother like you I'd say
I would not be the daughter, wife and mother today.

About this poem

I wrote this poem for my mom many years ago in gratitude and love. I gave it to her and she loved and appreciated me, for that I was happy that I gave her gratitude when she was still alive. I have no regrets. The message is to love and appreciate your love ones while they are with us. There will be no regrets. .
