TIRED

I am so sick and tired of fighting; it seems it is all I have been doing over the years since I have born guess I live and learn and watch the lessons burn, but this time I heard all the words, and I'm so fucking tired, and all I want to do is lay down my head before the next time I find myself dead.

Is my life over since my body is broken? Hell no, my voice still carries and needs to be spoken, so I pour myself a double whiskey neat and grab my pen to write the words that make me continue to want to fight, realizing I need to be more disciplined than ever while walking through the fires of this burning hell.

I feel as if I'm a tired child who needs a nap. I can't keep running down this highway with my bag of riches and sword in hand. My life will continue, but with a better plan for my body is broken, but my mind is strong. I'm finding myself laughing and crying like a madman.

I have been riding this midnight train for so long that I know all the graffiti written on it. The conductor screams at me for the last time, no more going in circles; it's time to get off the. your final stop.

I'm so damn tired from the years of fighting that life had made me do. Now I'm resting my tired eyes and my broken body, but with every end, there is some new being, whatever that may be, so here I sit in my rocking chair, tired of the ghost of who I used to be watching the sunset with the memories that soon I will forget.
