Clouds

I flew away towards the clouds
I flew away from my life

I had her holding my hand
And holding my soul inside me

I breathed the fog as I landed on white cotton candy, drifting to my sides.

I suddenly had a view
A view of the world
I saw it from a different perspective

There I sat on a rock,  overlooking my life

I then felt a warm feeling as she removed her hand

I was then alone
"Pretty," they'd say
"No, beautiful," I'd reply

I drifted to my lap and shut my eyes

Was it love?
Was it love?
