I'll Remember You

Luna Jade 2001 (Cape Town)

I'll remember you by springtime skies
I'll remember you whenever I see butterflies
I'll remember you by your warm summer sun smile
I'll remember you for quite a while

I'll remember you when I stare at the stars and moon
I'll remember you when I bask in the sun at noon
I'll remember you when I dance around my room
I'll remember you through springtime, because you made the flowers of my heart bloom

I'll remember you when I see beautiful trees
I'll remember you through beautiful blue seas
I'll remember you when listening to my favourite song
I'll remember you quite long.

I'll remember you through warm hugs
I'll remember you when I see big coffee mugs
I'll remember you when I see my favourite flower
I'll think about you every hour

I'll remember you whenever I look down and tell the time
I want to be reminded of you always, the mere thought of you is sublime.
I'll remember you every time I write a poem, a limerick or a simple rhyme
And be reminded of how privileged I am to be yours, and you, mine.
