Wondering Girl in my dreams

Wondering Girl

Once upon a wishing well,
I found in the lands of my dreams,
I made a wish I can’t tell.
Sweet it was hearing the downward streams.
Water flowing, and swimming fish.

Dropped a penny in the well,
Stood still, kept silent.
Then made my wish.

So, in my dream.
I the wondering girl,
Holding those secrets and thoughts in my memory,
that is going around in my mind, like a whirl
the influence of a mild-minded melancholy.

The trees swaying side to side,
Wind howling through each leaf,
All the birds just glide.
The animals hide beneath.

I sat and cried,
That nature is beautiful,
Not just in my dream, but worldwide,
In every nation and countryside.

Well, I hope my wish comes true,
So my whole life sees me through.
