Darkness of Grief



In the depths of sorrow, my heart does weep,
A tragic loss, a wound so deep,
But through the tears, love will endure
In memories cherished ,forever secure.

Through the void of pain, a tale unfolds
Of a love extinguished, a story untold
Yet from the ashes strength shall rise
A phoenix of hope, reaching the skies.

Realm of grief, my soul does dwell
A tragic loss, a tolling bell
But through the darkness, I'll find my way.
With love as my guide, I'll seize each day

About this poem

I wrote this when I wasn't in the best place but writing this made all that emotion come out of me and I felt a bit better. So poetry always works :
