Black

Michael Cahill 1980 (Bell island)

BLACK ⚫️
Because love actually can kill

In the world of black, where darkness dwells,
Love can end, leaving empty shells.
Once together, hearts felt bright,
But now we’re lost, in the lonely night.
In black’s embrace, we were once one,
Now apart, feeling so undone.
In the dark, we search for a way,
To find ourselves, to see the day.
Black teaches us, in pain and strife,
To find our strength, rebuild our life.
Though love’s gone, we still find love,
In ourselves, we rise above.
