What's happened to this world we live in recently?
All the racists and cruel hate, what happened?
The peace and love I dreamt of, nothing I wanted
But, there are those who are searching for the same

I kinda wanna see 8 billion people on this planet do the same thing
Doing their best to make this world a better place
Where peace and love bind us together with a string
Where we can all help each other rise above the hate

Where we can all strive for a better world with no more shame
Where we can all stand together and take the blame
Where we can all use our differences to our advantage
And make this world a better place with no more rage

Where we can all turn away from the things that hold us back
And stand together with our humanity intact
Where we can all come together and spread the love
