A Sister's Strength

In the realms of distant shores,
Two souls reunited evermore.
Though oceans apart, worlds away,
A sister’s strength would always stay.
Whispers of youth, tales untold,
Through tropical summer days and winter nights so cold.
Battles faced, with bullies and scorn,
In her eyes, a strength was born.
Guidance she gave, without despair,
A listening ear always there.
Judgment absent, love so true,
A beacon bright in skies so blue.
Life moved on, challenges grew,
Heartbreak, pain, yet love anew.
In marital strife, she stood so near,
Her voice of wisdom always clear.
Yet, in her own world, pain did reside,
A marital storm, she could not hide.
Together we faced the world so vast,
Holding memories, shadows cast.
Then came a time she found her peace,
In art, in love, her soul's release.
She texted me last, "Never be alone,"
Her strength, her courage, forever shown.
Now she's gone, to realms unknown,
Yet her essence remains, it's never gone.
A sister’s strength, a gift so rare,
For this lone brother, beyond compare.
For in this world where shadows fall,
Her love, her strength, outshines them all.
A bond unbroken, time can't sever,
A Sister’s strength remains forever.
