Sonnet
As we wander through shadows cast
By sorrows marked so deep
Our Path is marbled, washed in tears
Shimmering down around our feet

Misty lights and tiny rainbows
Intermingling with sun beams
Marking pathways where you walked
Surrounds your memories, your dreams

Whispering prayers and silent sorrows
Rejoicing in song on starry nights
Singing our love as you walk through
Earths morning glory light

Down a pathway filled with sorrow
Though filled with love in every pew
Holding hands you will walked together
Loving hearts you will make it through

About this poem

A poem abt the loss of Space Shuttle flight STS-107 and the Astronauts aboard. About the sorrow that followed for family, workers at the Center and their Team.
