Love's Eternal Dance

My words are still illuminated,
And I find my strength in that light.
I can still twirl in your heartbeat,
Until my foot unfolds that hurl of pain.
The ground is as dry as my heart,
The bruises mock me with wry mirth.
They make you watch my pretty eyes bleed,
The only ones that reflect my inner needs.
My heart was once vibrant, but now it falters when I gaze into those eyes.
A kiss from a past life,
On your right eye, so bright.
The mark remains,
Like memories that never wane.
My heart still beats for it,
Until my final beat.

If ambivert was a person, its me. I am a normal teenager with her small social circle and yes still trying to figure out the purpose of my life. I love writing free verse poems mostly about human experiences and nature. I also believe in putting out it in the world to their freedom for interpretation and view it through their eyes. Every window may look the same but the view seen would be different :) more…
