Life's event

Life's event
I find myself in a state of dilemma
Not in a play nor a drama
In reality faced with uncertainty
So much of casualty
As if placed on a platform to watch  life's event
With just a glance what I saw was violent
All manner of conflict and thuggery
Corruption and bribery
Greed theft lust which I abhor
Pitiably I was filled with empathy
An understatement would be sympathy
In one way or the other would I be a victim?
If I am faced with these life's event wouldn't  it be like one locked up in prison?
Surely I know if I'd be placed on a platform
To watch life's event  it'll take another form
The latter I know will be better than the former
Sooner
We'll realise that most of life's  events  are  full of pleasures
Therein is greener pastures
It will be a story to yell
Though time and season shall tell
