I'm Sorry We Never Talked at Lunch

The gentle Wind
Scatters the sparks.
Reflected moon
In the retreating tide.

She sits above (alone)
On the sheer cliff wall.
Millions of years
Condensed in frosting layers.

Her cold fingers
Grip the pebbley edge.
The gentle wind
Scatters her tangled hair.

A splash.
A dive.
A caw.
