I Might Remember You.

Don't stand in my way
hear what I say
do I judge you
on your appearance?
Because I've fallen
on hard times
I know my trade
inside out
I need a job
not a critical eye.
I might remember you one day
when I am
flying high.

About this poem

Too many people judge another on appearance, what a sad society that cannot listen and see beyond the mask of hard times.
