A Little Boy's Experience

Out did she come from a shower,
With pearly drops of water,
Coming down from her hair.
She was as charming as a houri,
Her shining face did light the dark;
Her crystal body was bright and clear,
Over wich flew her silky hair,
With golden tufts cascading down.
Her rosy cheeks glowed
Like the blossoms of a pomegranate.
And as she smiled, pearls shone in a mouth
Like a diamond ring perfumed and sweet.
Her neck was long and high;
Her slender graceful waist was like a mare's,
And all her limbs and parts were in harmony.
She came along with a charm
That lured and dazzled the little boy;
Then she slowed down
To stop and retreat.
Upon this, the innocent boy sobered up,
As if it were a sweet dream
In which sleep failed him.
To his disappointment, he drew back,
Amazed and embarrassed.
