The Phone Call

Wow it's you
I didn't think you still cared
Thought you met somebody new
Unsure I started getting scared

The fact you called back is so nice
I was taken by surprise
Probably why I let it ring twice
Hope your call isn't about telling me lies

Oh please don't hang up
I appreciate the phone call
I just know liars never stop
I'm so gullible to believe you at all
