Lost

You acted as if you didn't fall
Even though you gave me your all
You were always the one I could turn to
That's why I knew that i loved you
The way you softened at my touch
you Said that you wanted me just as much
When you looked into my eyes for the first time
You looking that beautiful had to of been a crime
At first I was hesitant
Because there was no evidence
Did you really love me?
Or did you just agree with me

Your favorite color is blue
After everything we went through
It became mine too
Blue symbolizes calmness and responsibility
you loving me came with a lot of flexibility
you waited and I waited, hoping it would come true
For a month all I wanted was you
We got together, the month we had was the best
I just wish we would've been able to finish the rest.

Long months without you really made me gone
It got so bad that i had withdrawn
From friends, from family to ever loving again
I wanted to come back, just a matter of when
We text and facetime like we never dated
you left behind everything we had created
Memories, laughs, smiles, all those conversations
I guess to you they were just weird situations
I now know to not set expectations to high
I learned that the hard way but I still wonder why.
You moved on like I was nothing
Like all time was ticking
While I was around broken
You put yourself out there as open
Now your with someone new
I just wonder who I am to you
A memory? A friend? Or just a peer
It hurts so bad that I just might shed a tear.

I remember those times when all you wanted was me
It was like I was the only person in the word, I was free
I was your princess, your first actual love, I treated you the best
Now I am trapped, my heart weighs heavy, all I am is stressed
I want you back, why can't you give us a chance?
You gave up so easily, not even giving a glance

I miss you, but you lost me for good this time
I lost myself loving you
But I do not regret it

Now after months of you, I like someone else
The way he looks at me
The shine in his eyes
Makes me not want to say my goodbyes
But i will know I will have to
I just can't get over you
So once again I withdrew
