We the people

We the people are Gods everything
We the people are Gods joy and Gods shame
We the people give him so little credit, yet we lay upon him all our blame
We the people holler and weep to him all our problems, rather than thank him for ones we are spared
We the people take and take so much more than we give and share
We the people are many who do and many who do not care
We the people lay more upon Gods shoulders than we lay on our own shoulders are willing to bare
We the people have earned God turning away his head, but our Father in heaven will never dare
We the people are our are problem and our solution, with the choices we make
We the people all need bringing together, God is our tool he is the rake
We the people are less about others more about our own sake
We the people even none of us knowing still none dare picking a day for baking him a birthday cake
We the people so many asleep so many needing to be slapped awake
We the people forget it is about God not you or me he or she
We the people some eyes wide open some but half and many just closed to see
We the people we need goodness and kindness as the only way to be
We the people need to cast away all evil so as one and together our spirits can join and  roam free
We the people all thinking me me me yet its 'all about God yes it's he he he...
