Money Can't---

Kenneth R. Jenkins 1961 (Augusta, GA)

Money can't buy love
Riches of gold to possess,
Money can't buy peace
Enough to impress
Someone you love.

Money can't heal,
But only comes with a price,
And money can only make deals,
Wheelin' and spending not just once but twice
As much as it needs to be.

No money can't bring you peace,
The only piece is a piece of the rock in its place,
The high price of living will never cease
Because the love of it is evil.

A green bill
That you spend, spend, spend,
But still
You buy stuff that's needed.
Until your very end.

Spend out those greenbacks,
As you try to buy stuff,
and here's an interesting fact ,
When the spending is gone, and it gets mighty rough,
Money can't buy that either.

Rich people get richer and greedy,
While the poor get less,
And the needy is begging the needy,
While the rich just turn up, their noses and stroke their chest,
And brag what they got.

When money is not much to see,
And that's when the time will come,
And like the advice from the Beatles to "let it be",
Because baby money can buy a lot of stuff
But I'm just saying you know....
