Made with good intentions

Broken with bad recollections

Don't pick me up

Only to let me down

Don't love me

Only to hurt me

Don't hold me

Only to leave me lonely

Don't whisper sweet nothing's

Only to yell and swear at me

Promise me nothing so I can go on

Without becoming a sad love song.
