A Witch's Shattered Heart

Under Dawn's gentle kiss of light,
Upon the satin petal of a lavender rose
A lonely dewdrop, a jewel so bright,
whispered a heart-wrenching tale of prose.

In the garden's tranquil hush, it lay,
A witch's teardrop from a shattered heart
Broken into pieces by love's cruel sway,
In that dewdrop, a world torn apart.

The witch, she loved him so,
Stars filled the vast, endless sky,
Yet their love, like twilight soft echo,
Filtered into the garden where the broken hearts lie.

With every dawn, a silent cry,
The shattered heart's mournful song,
In the Garden of Love's Last goodbye,
Their story whispered, sorrowful and strong.
