Free verse
I am not fragile like glass
You wouldn't look at me and think
"Be careful with her, if you break her she'll shatter into a million pieces"
I am fragile like plastic
Getting dropped over and over again until dents and cracks start to form
I'm still useful and serve my purpose
Until the day I don't

Sometimes I wish I were more like glass
I wouldn't have to work so hard to cover those dents and cracks
Because people would be more gentle
