Time

Time.

In the Book of time
Where veiled pages hide
I log every step of my journey,
Yet I am not the scribe

Copyright eludes
In a story of strife like mine
With an adventure in each parchment
From young dreams to my nocturnal wars

A tale of life, love, and grief.
Time is a thief,
For  every page turn, a letter fades
Such is the authorship, of fate,

Time unfolds its plot,
While I scribble my thoughts
Of a restless heart and her trips
Spilling in marvel with my eager ink

The future is a sacred rhyme
known only to time.

About this poem

It is all about the deceptive nature of time, we think we are in charge, wrong! It is slipping through our fingers grain after grain. Without knowing till it is too late.
