I Know That Love is Wonderful

I know that love is wonderful,
But let me tell you more,
It steals your eyes, It steals your ears, And steals your breath galore.
And this might happen in a wink,
When mighty passion soar,
When you are ten feet off the ground,
Then love's an open door.
Do you believe that I'm at fault,
To say just how I felt,
When once I held love in my arms,
Upon the ground I knelt.
And there was nothing left to do,
But worship at it's feet.
For I had thought what's fragrance for,
When dressing is complete.
Beyond materials I had looked,
Beyond mere flesh and bone,
But there left standing in the dark,
I hugged myself alone.

About this poem

When I was in love, although I was a million miles away, I could still feel the heartbeat of my true-love.
