Fabric of love

From amidst a worldly crowd,
The cruel face of life grins wide
I retreat into the fabric of love
Cuddling up like an infant between a mother's breasts

Life is hard,
So say the folk
But the fabric liberates my soul and,
From the tenacities I hide

Well within the fabric
I see the true colors
I smile and ho!
There stands the idol of love
Wrapped up in the fabric,
She glows like a lighthouse,
and I retreat into the fabric
like an infant between a mother's breasts
