King Tides

In the sea of emotions, where hearts do collide,
A skill emerges, many do not seem to mind.
It's called emotional intelligence, a beacon of light,
I'll try to weave its essence into words tonight.

It champions resilience, in times of despair,
When storms of life seem too heavy to bear,
With inner strength, it weathers each storm,
Rebounding with courage, a spirit reborn.

With empathy, it embraces anothers plight,
Their joys and sorrows, their fears in sight.
To understand the depths of others hearts,
Unveiling emotions, like intricate arts.

This new wave, it crashes through walls,
Shattering the barriers that divide us all.
In the ebb and flow, we find wisdom's voice,
Discovering the power of conscious choice.

In every interaction, it shines like a star,
Illuminating pathways, no matter how far.
For with emotional intelligence as our guide,
We'll create a world where love and compassion reside.

Gripping down into the sand, we find control,
Channeling emotions, like a waves gentle roll,
We breathe in calm, exhaling frustrations,
Navigating storms with tranquil foundations.

With empathy's touch, our hearts extend,
To understand others, to truly comprehend,
We recognize the joy, the anger, the sorrow,
Navigating this landscape, today and tomorrow.

So let us embrace this intelligent power,
In every waking moment, each passing hour.
With empathy, self-awareness, and self-control,
We unlock our hearts, while nurturing our souls.

So let this new tide of emotions rise,
A catalyst for change, and understanding lies.
May we ride its currents, with hearts wide open,
And let it shape a world where love is spoken.
