FOOT'S ON A TRAIL

The train is on the rail
The truck is on the track
The plane is on it's path
My foot is on a trail

I will keep my lane
As the earth keeps it's orbit
Wander around the world
Marvel at it's creation

I will dare the hills and valleys
Go across the plains
Thickets won't scare me
Neither will deserts dry/shake me

The trail may get too steep
The air may get too thin
But I'll take one more step
Then one more and many more

I will camp under the trees
Next to the waterfalls
Under the big rocks
Even at hill tops

I will roll on the grass
Swim in the rivers
Play on the ice
Keep the foot on the trail
