Even if it's not real

She's standing there waiting for him,
Everyday at the exact same hour.
Everyone thinks she's crazy,
But maybe, maybe she's just sad.
Maybe she tried so hard to forget, and now she thinks it's real.
She's waiting for her husband, her dead husband,
but for her, in her mind, he's very alive.
I hope, I hope that at least in her imagination, she meets him again.
I hope he comes and hugs her, like when they were young and free,
I hope he makes her happy, even if he's in her imagination, even if he's just a memory.
I hope she smiles forever, I hope they'll be together, until the end, even if it's in her imagination, even if it's not real.

When someone tells her the truth, tells her that he's dead,
she smiles at them and say,

Like she buried the memory with him, she's sure he's coming back.
