Gone so fast and so soon!

Just sitting here dealing with this torture
Dealing with this pain,
asking myself why that you had to leave so soon and wondering if heaven knew what they were about to gain?

I wasn’t ready Lord for you to take my Mom away,
I wasn’t done asking her for the right answers and for the right way.

If I would’ve known she was going to be taken so soon I would’ve taken more time to show her how much I cared,
Then when you took her Home Lord and she wasn’t there I wouldn’t have been so scared!

I know that she isn’t hurting and dealing with her health problems anymore,
And that gives me peace that she is relaxing pain free along Heavens golden shore.

It just hurts that I can’t pick up the phone and call her or go over to her and tell her “I Love You”,
I can’t tell her that she is beautiful and that she looks like an Angel sent from You.

God I sit here asking myself again “Why”?

Why did she have to leave so soon?
Why couldn’t have Heaven just saved her room?

Why Lord oh Why did my Mom have to be
“Gone so Fast and so Soon”?

I was 33 when I was told I had Cancer, I had the surgery and they was able to remove it all. While in and out of the hospital after that’s when my Mom passed away and I wasn’t able to tell her bye from being in the hospital, I was barely released the day before her service and I have had that in my mind ever since. I’m a survivor though and know that she is in a better place and watching over me now. more…
