MY CONVERSATION WITH THE ALMIGHTY

If we do not pray, how will god answer our prayers when we no longer keep the company of fear, anger, or hate? What do you believe in if it is only love that is left? Not everything nor everyone was sent to break your heart. I say let those damn walls fall apart.

I sit here in my backyard before the sunrise. Counting the stars, not the moments that my dreams did not come true, yes, I had many setbacks, but I never gave in because I am a stubborn bastard and do not know the meaning of defeat.

I met god once and shook his hand. After all, I had a beer with his son Jesus. He is just a simple man and, like myself, a carpenter's son, and neither of us liked the taste of wine. We shot the shit and had a great time.

In the middle of this conversation with the almighty, it was asked why you no longer pray. I know you, my son. You never shut up, but I understand why now you remain quiet because it is always silent before the storm, and today you have all our words to say
