Longing Undone
LONGING UNDONE
His body stood still
Like a corpse
Barely sinking his tongue
Which choked his throat
He looked at the window from the sterile building
He wished ground could wrap him in her arms
He wished his body would play catch with gravity
But fright filled his gut
He stared at the clear sky
And wished his mind could be sky
He wished his mind could be sea
He wished his soul could be free
The wind whistled in his ear
But his mind was a battle zone
And a battalion of positive thoughts was losing
Javelins of suicide pierced his heart
Which had no artillery to defend itself
His body stood still
Like a corpse
Barely sinking his tongue
Which choked his throat
Somehow he managed to gathered his strength
To play catch with gravity
As ground opened her arms
Ready to caress his body
His body was ready to divorce it's ghost
His lungs longed to be inflated tyres
His curtains longed eternal closure
His chambers were tired of pumping
Yet His body, still stood still
Like a corpse
Barely sinking his tongue
Which choked his throat
He opened the window
A mist fresh air sank into his lungs
The wind whistled louder
Nature grieved
But his mind was storm
His soul was grave
His body was form
What kept him human was his nerve
His hands held the frame
His conscious froze
His soul digested the blame
As his heart fed on his flaws
He removed his jacket
I mean Jack ate his Last meal
As he flew towards ground
He felt the wings of his ego
One thing was for sure
His mind was clear
As he collided face first like an explosion
Breaking his every bone
Yet his body stood still
Like a corpse
No as a corpse
Barely sinking his tongue
which choked his throat
