Demons

Looking at you
In those beautiful blue eyes.
I see the Demons
I see the boggie man that's trying to get you
I've tried to fight it
But it's stronger than me
Frustrated and pissed ass hell
I've walked away
I've raised my hands
Raised the white flag
I'm weak
I can't do it
I can't fight that demon within you
And I apologize
I made promises
Promises I couldn't keep
I turned and walked away
Like the coward I am
Your a warrior and this Colombian Warrior Goddess
Could not handle what you had to bring
For this I will always look in ward and ask why
Why couldn't I help you battle?
Battle this demon that I knew you had.
Had a hold of you
What was I missing?
Did I not fight hard enough?
Was I that weak?
No, this demon was not mine to fight.
It was yours all along.
I was just there to watch &
Pick up the pieces
This piece of your broken heart and soul
A heart I wanted
Needed to make me whole.
But not ment for me to love.
