i hate you
I love how poets are always writing
Writing about the love
But hate be fighting
Fighting for what we owe
Hate needs attention
It too needs the words of affirmation
Hate is not always the 'go and die'
It can be 'never ever say bye'
Hate is not always spreading around
It is the love yet to be found
I hate you is all I can say to you
I hate you is my feelings towards you
It's 'hate you' because it's hard
Hard for me to express the love I have for you
It's 'hate you' because it's hard
Hard to say how much I owe you
I owe you the best of friendship
I owe you my time
I owe you all the love you've clipped
Clipped to make me sublime
I owe you much more than I know
I owe you the greatest of show
I owe you the vibes you've been giving me
I owe you your best as you see in me
I owe you all the love you deserve
Though you didn't have it on reserve
Let me give it in the form of hate
As hate too is the opening gate
A gate of the mansion
Where I keep my love for you
A gate of the mansion
Where there is hatred too
Hating you is like not knowing how to express my love for you
Hating you is knowing I can't express my love for you
Hating you for still being friends with me
Hating you for always staying with me
Hating you for always supporting me
Hating you for bringing out the better in me
Hating you is like the depth of the sea I love you
Hating you for I don't want people to know I love you
About this poem
It seems to be about the complexity of emotions and how sometimes it can be difficult to express love and gratitude, so we use other words like "hate" to convey our feelings. It's also about the depth of a friendship and how much we owe to the people we care about.
