For Grandma, the Fighter

She was a fighter, through and through,
A warrior with a heart so true.
She battled hard, with all her might,
And faced each day with fearless might.

Her spirit burned like a bright flame,
And though her body grew frail and tame,
Her courage never waned or failed,
For she was strong and fiercely hailed.

She taught us all to stand up tall,
To never give up, to never fall,
To face our fears with steady grace,
And always strive to win the race.

Though she may be gone from sight,
Her memory fills our hearts with light,
And we will honor her each day,
By living boldly, come what may.

For Grandma, the fighter, will always be,
A shining example of bravery,
And though we miss her every hour,
Her strength and spirit will never sour.
